Bram Henneman studied Life Science & Technology at Leiden University and Delft University of Technology. He completed a master in the same field at Leiden University. During his studies, he did research internships at the Leiden University Medical Center and the University of Birmingham (UK).

Bram received his PhD from Leiden University in 2019, where he worked at the Macromolecular Biochemistry group. During his PhD, he studied DNA compaction in bacteria and archaea and archaeal evolution. Because of his broad interest in the life sciences and its applications, Bram joined V.O. in 2020 as trainee patent attorney.
