After completing her studies in Drug Development at KU Leuven, Emma began a PhD at the university’s Rega Institute. Her research focused on the human norovirus, exploring fundamental questions such as which cells are targeted by the virus. In addition, she collaborated closely with hospitals to help identify the most appropriate therapy for each individual patient.
