Helen graduated as an electrical engineer at KU Leuven. Within the broad field of electrical engineering she has chosen digital signal processing as specialization and has conducted her thesis work in the context of ultrasonic signal processing.
During her studies, she has gained experience in software as well as hardware development during student jobs. In addition, she was employed by KU Leuven as a student assistant to organize training sessions of engineering science courses.
