Joost Gooyer studied at the University of Groningen, Delft University of Technology, and at the University of Amsterdam where he obtained his masters degree in organic and inorganic chemistry in 2014. After his masters, he started his career in the specialty chemicals industry. He has gained R&D experience and acquired knowledge on metalworking fluids for aerospace, automotive, and tube & pipe industries, including synthetics, semi-synthetics, soluble-oils, and drawing fluids. Joost joined V.O. in 2017, because of his broad interest in science and technology, and patent law.
