Maarten Reuver studied geophysics at the University of Utrecht (2016). He did his graduation internship at TNO Utrecht, Section Geophysics. During this internship, he specialized in microseismicity and the electronic seismic measuring equipment developed therefor.

In addition, during his studies, Maarten did an internship at the University of Utrecht in a chemical laboratory. Here, he specialized in the chemical reactions that occur during extremly low pressures, which he related to exoplanetary atmospheric reactions. In 2017 Maarten joined V.O.
