With over 25 years of experience in the field of trademarks and designs, Mariëlle van der Loo helps companies protect and strengthen their intellectual property rights. She has been working as a trademark attorney since 2000, having begun her career in 1995 as a paralegal in the field of intellectual property.

Since 2008, she has been a certified BMM trademark and design attorney and a registered EU trademark and design attorney. In this capacity, she advises companies on the protection, registration, and enforcement of trademarks and designs, both within the Benelux region and internationally.

For more than twenty years, she worked for a leading multinational company specializing in lithography equipment for the semiconductor industry, where she gained extensive experience in the global protection and management of their trademark portfolio. In addition, she has assisted a wide range of small and medium-sized enterprises in building, protecting, and strengthening their intellectual property rights.

Thanks to her experience with both international organizations and SMEs, Mariëlle is able to translate complex legal issues into practical and workable solutions. Her approach is characterized by commitment, clarity, and a focus on the client’s interests.
