As a Project Engineer at the ‘New Product Development Instruments’ department, she took part in the design process and wrote the documentation to build the technical file.

During her graduation project, Marije looked into how electrosurgery can be made more suitable for use in developing countries. After creating an overview of the problems surrounding surgery and medical devices in developing countries, she focused on the problems associated with electrosurgery and electrosurgical units that also exist in our western world.
