BMM certified trademark attorney

Recently, BMM (Benelux Association for Trademark and Design Right) has introduced the BMM certification mark.

This certification mark guarantees that the trademark attorney using it has had the proper education, knowledge and experience to advise clients with regard to the various aspects regarding the protection of trademarks and designs. The permission to use the certification mark is only granted after the attorney has passed the BMM professional examination, which is supervised by an independent foundation. In addition, the attorney must have had at least three years of experience as a professional trademark and design attorney. Further, the trademark attorney is expected to keep up the professional knowledge by following continuing education in the field of trademark and design law and practice.
