As of 1 December Marie-José Luys reinforces the team of patent attorneys in the Belgian office of Vereenigde, which was recently set up in Science Park Arenberg, Leuven.
Dr. Luys previously worked for Gevers, a leading Belgian patent and trademark firm, where she was Head of the patent department. In IAM Patent 1000 – The World’s Leading Patent Practitioners she is commended as "a top choice, particularly for her litigation support work".
She has been active in the world of intellectual property rights for about twenty years and has experience in industrial as well as private practice. She has acquired indepth expertise in patent prosecution in various fields, especially in the fields of chemistry, pharmacy, industrial materials, mechanics and construction.
