On 24 June, VEREENIGDE will be presented a prestigious award in London: The Netherlands Prosecution IP Firm of the Year Award 2010.
The award will be received on behalf of our firm by Hajo Kraak and Johannes van Melle.
The MIP Global Awards are an initiative of the British magazine Managing Intellectual Property (MIP), a leading international medium for professionals in the field of patents, trademarks and designs. The award is conferred annually to firms that have distinguished themselves by qualitatively high-grade work. For its award, MIP relies, among other things, on interviews with a large number of clients and colleague firms worldwide.
According to chairman Cees Jansen, this is a greatly appreciated gesture to the whole office: "We work hard to present ourselves as a European full service provider. Although an MIP survey published in February rates VEREENIGDE as a Tier 1 patent prosecution firm for the Netherlands, this award still comes as a surprise. We see it as a confirmation of our strategy and especially as an encouragement to further pursue the course we have taken. Patents and trademarks have lately received a great deal of attention worldwide. They contribute to a strengthening of the economy. VEREENIGDE has a role to play in that regard."
