The Association for IP attorneys of record (Vereniging Intellectuele Eigendom Proces Advocaten (VIEPA)) was founded recently. The object of this association is to clearly differentiate these specialists from other professionals.
To guarantee the expertise of affiliated lawyers, only those lawyers with more than five years of experience in intellectual property proceedings will be admitted to the association. Members will also be required to meet a minimum number of requirements each year in order to maintain their membership. Annelies de Bosch Kemper from V.O. has meanwhile become a member of the VIEPA.
