The team of Delft Technical University of Technology has also won the latest edition of the Bridgestone Solar Challenge, the race for solar vehicles. V.O. was again sponsor of this super-innovative team.
As from 8 October, the team drove its Nuna9, the top favorite, on public roads from Darwin to Adelaide, 3,000 km right through the Australian outback. Opposition came from all over the world, in total 41 teams that were all bent on keeping the Delft students from winning once more. But it was all to no avail: however strong the competitors were, Nuna9 beat them again and finished first on 12 October. V.O. is proud of this world achievement and congratulates the NUON Solar Team on its victory!
