As of 1 April 2021, three new partners have joined V.O., namely patent attorneys Jasper Groot Koerkamp, Frits Michiels and Bart Jan Niestadt.
Before joining V.O. in 2015, Jasper Groot Koerkamp worked for several years as in-house IP counsel in France, where he was responsible for the patent strategy of NXP’s mobile communications business unit. Frits Michiels has been with V.O. since 2006, after a long scientific career at knowledge institutes and biotech companies. Bart Jan Niestadt , after working for several years in the telecommunication industry, started his career in patenting in 2001 and joined V.O. as a patent attorney in 2011.
