On Thursday 9 and Friday 10 February 2017 the Unitary Patent Package Conference will be held in the Amsterdam Novotel. UPP Package 2017 is organized by Euroforum. As one of the partners, V.O. is actively involved in the event.
The conference is particularly intended for European patent professionals: patent attorneys, IP directors and consultants, and lawyers and judges who are preparing the impact of the UP and the UPC.
Two days of theory and practice
On the first day, top experts will hold presentations on the status of the UP and UPC. How to deal with Brexit? How and where to file and litigate, with or without the UK? Also addressed are expectations, wishes and fears regarding future developments. In addition, a panel discussion will be held with patent attorneys and judges.
The second day will be devoted to practice. Three different, indepth workshops can be participated in, addressing patent strategy, costs and litigation and legal procedures.
Speakers
The event is chaired by Richard Vary and Wouter Pors (Bird & Bird). Presentations will be held by a large number of renowned speakers. On behalf of V.O., Bart van Wezenbeek will lead the workshop on patent strategy.
