Alexander van Loon and Jasper Groot Koerkamp have recently joined V.O. Patents & Trademarks as European patent attorneys.
Due to the improving economy, V.O. has experienced an increase in the number of assignments and clients. To be able to address this increase, V.O. has decided to appoint two additional experienced European patent attorneys. With the arrival of Alexander van Loon and Jasper Groot Koerkamp, V.O. has now more than 60 patent, trademark and design attorneys, working in the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany.
Alexander van Loon has been active in this profession for ten years, being specialized in molecular biology. He also has wide experience in biological subjects, varying from biomedical devices and applications, to methods and devices relating to plant growth and development. Van Loon works in the offices in The Hague and Amersfoort.
Jasper Groot Koerkamp is specialized in electronics and started his career at NXP Semiconductors and Philips. Here he acquired much experience, in terms of IP, in counselling and negotiating for mergers and takeovers. Before he joined V.O., he worked for a number of years as patent attorney in private practice. Groot Koerkamp works in the office in The Hague.
