On 28 September, JUVE Patent published the JUVE Patent Netherlands ranking 2023. A comprehensive ranking of all leading Dutch patent firms, patent attorneys and litigators, compiled after thorough research. Our firm is given a prominent position in this ranking.
V.O. has recommendations in two categories: ‘Patent Filing’ and, with five stars, ‘Litigation: Patent Attorneys’. Jetze Beeksma, Marco Box, Leo Jessen, Martin Klok, Bernard Ledeboer and Otto Oudshoorn are identified as ‘recommended individuals’. Box and Ledeboer are also recommended in the category ‘Patent attorneys with technical specialty – Netherlands 2023’.
In particular, the accomplishments of Beeksma, Box and Klok in high-profile cases in pharmaceuticals, life sciences and mobile communications put V.O. particularly well on the map last year.
V.O. provided important technical support in Dutch infringement and restitution cases simultaneously conducted in other European countries. With its international orientation and office network, the firm is in an excellent position to handle UPC cases. JUVE adds that V.O. is one of the few Dutch firms with a senior partner – Bernard Ledeboer – who is also a technically qualified UPC judge.
