The Healthcare Accelerator BioPark Jump invites you to another Meet the Expert event at BioPark III in March. In March, you will receive an overview of the various protection options for your innovation (e.g. patent, utility model, trademark or design).
Professional expertise is provided by the law firm V.O. – Patents & Trademarks from Munich. In her presentation, patent and trademark attorney Dr. Bettina Herman will provide an overview of patent applications and patent rights as well as the application, duration and costs of property rights, and will also address the issues of IP strategy and utility models.
Her colleague Claudia Meindel will also provide an insight into the topic of trademark and design registration.
In addition, Dr. Monika Mügschl-Scharf, Head of the Invention Advisory Service at the University of Regensburg, will present the support available to members of the universities supported by the Invention Advisory Service (University of Regensburg, OTH Regensburg, University Hospital Regensburg and Deggendorf Institute of Technology).
In the afternoon (from 2 p.m.), the experts from V.O. will be available for bilateral discussions. Each registered person or team will be given a 30-minute slot with a lawyer to discuss specific legal questions about their own business idea.
