Sara Calitz graduated with a MSc in industrial pharmacy and a BSc in biochemistry from the University of Ljubljana. During her studies she completed various research internships and specialised in the fields of cholesterol and lipid biochemistry, organic chemistry and drug development. Before joining V.O., Sara was a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Early Stage Researcher at the University of Antwerp. Her research focused on the development and optimisation of the manufacturing process of cell-based therapy.
