Marco heeft ervaring op het gebied van optica, software, algemene mechanica en fijnmechanische constructies. Daarnaast heeft hij zich gespecialiseerd in fysische en elektrische systemen en computersystemen, alsmede op een divers gebied van medische apparatuur.

Hij is betrokken geweest bij een aantal (internationale) inbreukzaken (o.a. MPEG, MP3, Samsung-Apple, Google-Sonos, SLDE-Nespresso, Heineken-AB InBev) en ongeveer 60 opposities/beroepen bij het EOB.

In zijn hoedanigheid van European Patent Litigator, is Marco bevoegd om als UPC representative op te treden.
